Here are some romantic ideas that won’t break the bank!

Post-it Notes
Write a poem about your partner and give it to them in a romantic card.
Burn a CD with love songs that remind you of your partner.
Leave little post-it notes throughout the house telling your partner why you love them.
Romantic Text Messages
Recreate the First Date
Most Beautiful Mirror Gift
Make a list of 15 things you love about your partner. Send each item on the list as a text message to their phone throughout the day.
Pretend you’re going on a first date — show up at the door with flowers, all dressed up, with your car washed and cleaned, looking spiffy. Recreate the first time. Buy a stylish hand mirror and give it to your partner as a gift. Include a card in
the box saying “In this mirror you will see the image of the most beautiful woman in the world.”
Indoor Picnic
Hot Bath
Romantic Drive
Create a picnic in your living room. Spread a picnic blanket on the living room floor, light candles around the room and place rose pedals on the blanket. Prepare your dinner like you normal, but eat it while sitting on the blanket. You can even feed each other to enhance the romance.
When your spouse has had a really long hard day, run a hot bath for them. Pour some fragrant bath oil into the tub and gently bathe her from head to toe. Carry her into the bedroom. Gently towel her dry and tuck her into a freshly made bed with a kiss on the forehead.
Buy some rose petals and place them behind the sun visor on the passenger
side of your car. Take a post it note and write, “I Love You” on it and stick it to
the back of the sun visor. As you are driving, look at your partner and tell them there is a mark on their cheek. She/He will pull down the sun visor to use the mirror and be showered in rose petals and see your note.

How do you keep things romantic on a budget?
