This is called the ‘Saturday Night Smoky Eye’. Keep it simple with an eye shadow trio and lots of blending! The lightest color goes on lids; the medium goes in crease and the outer corners like a sideways V, then keep on blending using a windshield-wiper motion. Use the darkest color along the lash lines. For extra definition add black pencil on inner rims.
When it comes to a flirty eye it’s all about liner and lashes. Apply liquid liner on top lashes, as close to the lash line as possible. Then get the false-lash look by cocktailing two mascaras: the first layer is a volumizing mascara (really wiggle it through to build the thickness several times). Let the mascara dry for about 30 seconds until it’s thick then apply a lengthening mascara by pressing it into the roots for definition, and through the ends to stretch them.
A strong eye is marked by defined brows and lids. You outline brows and fill them with powder that is a shade lighter than natural brow hairs is safest. Comb away the excess. Then add gray or brown shadow on lashes with a heavy application of mascara in outer corners.
